This makes me confused. Forest Gump is the number 1 selling DVD/Blu-ray on Amazon? What? Does this mean that people have been eagerly awaiting the Blu-ray release of this movie that came out a lot of years ago and have been checking in to wait for the release? Was there a news letter or an email group? Because I definitely didn’t see any Gump posters on buses or billboards in the year 2010. Sure, it was a cool movie, and might even hold up in present day, but-ah, fuck it. And with True Blood and Avatar and Book of Eli TWICE in the top 5, I guess popularity of things shouldn’t surprise me.
